Robbie Rhinesmith
State Programs & Government Relations Director
Robbie serves as a State Programs & Government Relations Director for the Friedman Foundation.
Robbie graduated from the Catholic University of America Columbus School of Law in May 2012. While in law school, he researched the constitutionality of various school choice programs, including vouchers, tax credit scholarships, and public charter schools. He also taught “Social Justice & the Law” at Archbishop Carroll High School, a Catholic high school in Washington, D.C., accepting DC Opportunity Scholarship students.
Prior to law school, Robbie taught high school social studies for two years at Memphis Catholic High School, a Cristo Rey-model school in Memphis, TN. He taught as part of the University of Notre Dame’s two-year Alliance for Catholic Education “Service through Teaching” Master’s program, which places its member-teachers at Catholic schools in need throughout the country while they earn their M.Ed. degrees.
Robbie also received his B.A. in Political Science from Notre Dame in 2007. He is also an Indianapolis native.
