Jason is the Incoming Head of School of Logos Academy located in York City, Pennsylvania. Logos Academy is a faith-based, community school where students are encouraged to develop in their faith and character in addition to their academic achievement and leadership skills. For more than ten years, Logos Academy students have surpassed the national average on the Stanford Achievement Test.
Nearly seventy-five percent of the students at Logos Academy are from low-income homes and are beneficiaries of Pennsylvania’s Education Improvement Tax Credit Scholarships (EITC). Since 2001, EITC maintains overwhelming bi-partisan support throughout the state and has been highly-instrumental in Logos Academy’s growth and success. Jason’s interest to urban education and school choice began in graduate school while interning at City Lights Public Charter School. City Lights was founded to serve DC’s emotionally-disturbed adolescents living in one of DC’s most economically-distressed neighborhoods.
Jason is a graduate of Liberty University (BS Business) and Eastern University (MS Non-Profit Management). Jason is a Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) and recognized among the Association of Fundraising Professionals’ elite group of Master Trainers.
