Mike Harmon is a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University, where he earned a triple major in Math, Statistics, & Theater.
Harmon was elected to the position of Kentucky State Representative in November of 2002, and he serves the people of Kentucky’s 54th district, which includes Boyle and Washington Counties. When he first won his office, Harmon was the first Republican from Boyle County to hold this seat in 102 years. His current committee assignments include: Banking and Insurance, Elections, Constitutional Amendments, and Intergovernmental Affairs, and Tourism and Energy. Past committee assignments have included Health & Welfare.
In addition to serving as a Kentucky State Representative, Harmon and his wife Lynn are Loan Officers with First Mortgage Company in Danville, KY, a wholly owned subsidiary of First Federal Bank, Lexington, KY.
