SB 139: Taxes on Education Expenses

Type of Program: Personal Tax Credit or Deduction
Description: This program amends the Illinois Income Tax Act. Provides that for taxable years ending on or after December 31, 2007, the education expense credit may not exceed $1,000 (now, $500). Effective immediately.
