Duncan v. State of Nevada Amicus Brief
The American Civil Liberties Union of Nevada filed a lawsuit threatening the educational freedom of thousands of K–12 students on August 27. Americans United for Separation of Church and State later joined the lawsuit. On October 26, the Friedman Foundation for Educational Choice engaged in this litigation to support Nevada families by filing amicus briefs. The case, Duncan v. State, was filed in the District Court of Clark County, Nevada. It is the first of two cases filed against Nevada’s education savings accounts (ESAs).
