Walter Blanks, Jr. is a Policy and Advocacy Director at EdChoice. Previously, Walter was a National Spokesperson at the American Federation for Children, where he worked with lawmakers, advocates, and families across the country to advance educational freedom. A nationally recognized advocate and commentator, his work and commentary have appeared in outlets including Fox News, Newsmax, The Daily Wire, and The Washington Examiner.
A native of Columbus, Ohio, Walter is a beneficiary of Ohio’s Educational Choice Scholarship, an experience that inspired his career in education policy and advocacy. He now resides in Nashville, Tennessee, with his wife and family.
