Private School Choice
Idaho does not have a private school choice program, though state lawmakers have considered education savings accounts in the past.
Public School Choice
Idaho has inter-district and intra-district open enrollment policies, which allow students to attend traditional public schools outside their zoned school. Idaho has some magnet schools.
Idaho has some charter schools, which are publicly funded schools that are free from many of the regulations that restrict traditional public schools.
Parents have to meet certain laws in Idaho when homeschooling their children.
