Everyone is unique; we all have different talents, ways of thinking, and personal ambitions. Yet the traditional K-12 system attempts to treat every individual as the same. I experienced this despite attending quality public and private schools, where I felt that hours of each day could have been put to better use outside the rigid conception of what children must learn and how they must learn. Educational choice enables all children to use the most formative years of their lives to their full potential. In turn, society will reach its full potential.
