    A 2018 Senate budget resolution in response to Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s proposed budget included a provision for the Education Investment Tax Credit, a tax-credit scholarship that would also benefit other educational initiatives.     Invest in Ed New York has been promoting a tax-credit scholarship in the Empire State. In addition, New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio has made it easier for families who have students with special needs and have not received an adequate education in the public school system to receive reimbursements for private school tuition.
