Inspiration for Joining the Educational Choice Movement

Traditional public school worked well for me, and my family would even say I thrived in my school setting. Though I can say that for myself, I cannot confidently say the same for some of my close family members. From our family experiences, I am eternally grateful to have had school choice programs, especially charter schools, that provide second and even third chances to students who are seeking to get their high school diploma. In my opinion, school choice means a true opportunity of educational freedom that doesn’t have a limitation based on socio-economic status, race, or geography. It is true liberation from a traditional system that can be limiting to any students who may not fit the mold.
