Alaska does not require public school districts to provide transportation to students transferring between districts.

Charter School

Alaska requires districts to provide transportation to charter school students.

Private School

Alaska requires school districts to provide transportation to private school students that travel distances comparable to, and over routes the same as, the distances and routes over which the children attending public schools are transported.
