Inter-District

New Mexico does not provide support nor requires districts to pay for the transportation of inter-district transfer students.

Charter School

A locally chartered charter school shall negotiate with a school district to provide transportation to students eligible for transportation and is eligible for state transportation funds.

Private School

New Mexico does not include private school students or schools in its transportation funding.
